St Ninians Road Brighton

St Ninians Road Brighton

Completed 2007

St Ninians Residence

Situated on the highly desired Golden Mile in Brighton, this project was designed to be two residences, one above the other, for two brothers who were seeking a dual occupancy that also allowed for individual privacy.

Created to resemble rusted forms protruding out of rocky formations, the brief was to produce a sculptured, high quality residence that exuded architectural merit from the inside out. Outlooking the foreshore, consideration was taken to ensure that locals walking and riding along Brighton beach would receive the best view of the home.

Each residence is oriented to make the most of the beach and city views and features three bedrooms, with a common basement carpark and lift for both brothers to use. The ground floor residence has an outdoor terrace, theatrette and pool overlooking Brighton Beach, with the upper level featuring its own theatrette and beach oriented living spaces that open out onto a rooftop terrace and additional private pool.
