Linx Apartments

This multi-level apartment complex was developed to allow the seamless transition between the low density and low-level residential neighbourhood of inner Prahran on one side, and the dominating and higher density High Street on which it faces.

With 109 apartments across seven levels, and associated ground level retail and commercial spaces, every feature of Linx Apartments was meticulously chosen to ensure resident privacy and material durability from the busy surrounding streets and adjoining railway line.

Inspiration was drawn from Melbourne itself. The building’s positive and negative forms are each accentuated with bright colours to create an urban statement of inner city living.
