The current environment remains volatile with pandemic-related restrictions and uncertainty. For CBG, the safety of our clients, business partners, staff and families has been and remains our first priority. In saying this, we have been fortunate enough to continue operating business as usual while implementing precautionary measures. During this time, a series of projects have progressed demonstrating the quality of our architectural services and our strong partnership with our clients.

COMPLETION OF SEBASTOPOL RESIDENCES – KOOYONG ROAD

Sebastopol Residences combines the grace of traditional craftsmanship with the ease of modern living, creating a sense of sophistication and quality. This boutique apartment complex for owner occupiers with a strong and bold design is now complete.

Designed with flowing layouts to amplify space and light, combining style and comfort balanced with modern aesthetics and indoor-outdoor connectivity. Featuring timber floors, bronze accents, textural material palette, stone finishes and natural fibres combined to create an enduring design that epitomizes the timeless feature of the residences.

Some residents have already moved into the luxurious apartments with final touches being completed by our building partners Camillo Builders on the boutique complex and marketing on the remaining apartments currently underway.

COMPLETION OF DE CARLE STREET – BRUNSWICK

Recently completed elegant and detailed renovation and extension of a Queen Anne heritage home, by breathing new life into the residence across the 3 split levels with building partners Neverstop Group.

The renovation consisted of creating a library, complete with hand forged cast iron spiral staircase and a secret door, leading to a beautiful reading room with an ensuite bathroom. Timber removed during the demolition phase of this renovation was salvaged and repurposed to create beautifully hand crafted floor to ceiling bookshelves.

CURRENT

1134 MALVERN ROAD

Boutique 4 level development in the heart of prestigious Malvern. Inspired for owner occupiers with a classic and elegant design featuring 14 spacious residences. Combining natural materials within the considerate living spaces, creating a sense of sophistication and filled with personality.

A builder has recently been appointed and we are looking forward to seeing this project come to life.

PAVILION GREEN – BAY ROAD SANDRINGHAM

It’s been exciting to see the progression of Pavilion Green since it started construction in 2019. With Stage 1 of 3 scheduled for completion this Spring, Stage 2 is currently being documented. The project is a true testament to the high collaboration work with developer Auyin Property Development and building partners Camillo Builders who are part of the Crema Group.

Pavilion Green design is the epitome of luxury and convenience, incorporating waves of curved linear bands which flow across the façade to create generous cantilevered balconies which embrace the coastal location and views. Spacious internal layouts extend the beach feel, allowing for an abundance of natural light which complement the warm tones mixed with classic materials.

Construction is well and truly underway with apartments on the first few levels complete. The upper levels are currently being painted ahead of joinery installation and the external façade finishing continues to move forward. With excellent progress amidst the current environment and social distancing practices, construction is on track to welcome new residents into the development this Spring.

BURGUNDY STREET, HEIDELBERG

Within the bustling Burgundy Street shopping strip, is a 6 level complex of apartments currently under construction above an existing commercial building. Stage 1 of the project was completed 5 years ago and now construction has re-commenced with the next stages which were always designed with the intention of future residences.

Design philosophy focuses on detail and material quality, incorporating sensitivity to the buildings scale with the use of a largely monochromatic palette. The main façade focuses on verticality with a perforated screen allowing for natural ventilation while providing privacy yet engaging with the streetscape as an appealing aspect of the architectural design.

CASCADE APARTMENTS – BENT ST BENTLEIGH

Within the well-established area of Bentleigh, you will find the Cascade Apartments – a 4 level residential complex. Designed with a strong and bold form creating an appealing and contextually appropriate architectural design. The sophisticated residences blend a single tone natural concrete palette with strong geometrical forms, complimented with light filled interiors for modern lifestyles.

Following a successful marketing campaign, documentation for construction is being completed in preparation for commencement of construction scheduled to begin in the second half of this year.
